110: How Forever Projects help women in Tanzania to build businesses
Following our bonus IWD episode with Australian business women is an episode with Mark Dombkins, founder of Forever Projects.
Forever Projects works closely with women in Tanzania, first with immediate relief, then helping women as they build businesses that ultimately allow each woman to support herself and extended family independently. The team has seen women move themselves out of poverty, grow a business, hire staff, put food on the table, and put their children through school.
Today, we sit down with Mark to discuss the work of Forever Projects and also hear his own inspiring story. We hear about what first sparked the idea, how Mark and his wife juggle a work-life balance with 6 children of their own, and how relationships with other gamechangers such as Canva, Seth Godin, and Charity Water have helped the organisation continue to make an impact in the developing world.
