You know that feeling when you leave a room full of brilliant humans thinking, “Welp… time to level up”?
That was me before I spent five days with 7- and 8-figure business owners—and I walked away with a whole new playbook.
In this episode, I’m sharing the 7 bold CEO shifts I’m making right now (and how you can use them to unlock your next level, fast).
You’ll Learn:
- The tiny tweak that makes your content and lead magnets way more effective
- How we’re using custom GPTs to move faster and cut through the noise
- The question that exposed the real bottleneck in my business
- Why “more” isn’t the answer—and what to do instead
- The post-it-note funnel strategy that showed me exactly where we were leaking leads
- The unexpected shift that helped me break through my capacity ceiling
What Happens When You’re Not the Smartest Person in the Room
One of the best things I ever did for my business—and honestly, for myself—was get in rooms where I’m not the smartest person there.
Where I’m learning, stretched, and leave thinking, “Damn, I’ve got some work to do—but in the best way.”
I spent five days in a room with seven and eight-figure business owners. And I want to take you inside that room today. Because I had breakthrough after breakthrough—and I know these are things you can take and run with too.
In this episode, I’m sharing seven power moves I’m making after that week.
They’re big ideas with tangible action steps you can use right now—no matter what stage of business you’re in.
Let’s get into it.
1. Solve One Tiny Problem
Most creatives make the mistake of being way too vague with their content and lead magnets.
Like… “How to grow your creative business.”
Babe, no one is downloading that. It’s too broad and too beige.
What works? Getting super specific. I call these splinters—tiny, pointed problems your dream client is obsessing over.
It’s not “How to price your offers.”
It’s: “How to price your VIP Day with confidence (and stop second-guessing yourself).”
Narrowing your marketing down to a tiny yes leads to a bigger yes later.
🧠 Try this: Look at your lead magnet. Does it solve a specific, tangible problem? Or could it be tighter?
2. Speed Up with AI
If you’re still doing everything manually… I’ve got news for you:
You’re not slow because you’re lazy.
You’re slow because you haven’t systemised your brilliance.
We’re now building custom GPTs across our business. I’ve created one for each of our programs—Foundations, The Next Level Club, our new Mastermind—and internally too.
And the amazing thing is, our clients LOVE it. It’s faster. It’s smarter. It helps them get into action without second-guessing every little thing.
This isn’t about replacing humans.
It’s about removing friction so you can move faster and more confidently.
🧠 Try this: What’s one thing you (or your clients) do over and over? Build a GPT to handle it.
3. Fix the Blocker, Fast
Here’s a line that hit me right between the eyes:
“You are one fix away from your next breakthrough.”
And I thought—yep. That’s it.
We waste so much time tweaking the surface when there’s ONE bottleneck holding everything up.
One decision we’re avoiding.
One problem we haven’t dealt with.
One system that’s still duct-taped together.
🧠 Try this: Ask yourself: “What is the one constraint that—if fixed—would unlock the next level of growth?”
Then stop avoiding it. Fix it.
4. Map Your Funnel on Paper
Grab a stack of Post-its. A fat marker. A big-ass piece of paper.
Then map your funnel. All of it.
Where people come in and fall off.
And where you’re losing money and people.
I did this at the event and was like… ohhh. There it is. That’s the hole.
🧠 Try this: Physically map your funnel. No tech. No Notion. Just paper. You’ll see the problem before you even finish writing it down.
5. Scale with Scissors
Let me say this loud for the high-achieving perfectionists in the back:
Scaling does NOT mean doing more.
Scaling means subtracting.
This year, we’ve been ruthlessly simplifying our delivery. Our programs are more focused. We’ve cut the fluff. And clients? They’re getting BETTER results.
You don’t need more complexity. What you need is:
- Clarity
- Less
- Scissors
🧠 Try this: Look at your offer or service. What can you remove without affecting results?
Then remove it.
6. Grow Like a CEO
This was the big unlock for me:
I realised I wasn’t hitting an income ceiling.
I was hitting a capacity ceiling.
We had maxed out what our current model—and team—could hold.
So if we want to grow, we need to change the container.
We’re hiring before we feel ready.
We’re scaling our backend to match the vision.
And I simplified our 8-figure plan to one tiny piece of paper. Not even joking.
🧠 Try this: Zoom out and ask: “If I keep operating like I am now… will this get me to where I want to go?”
If not—what would?
7. Borrow people’s belief
Here’s the most freeing lesson of all:
Even the most successful entrepreneurs are still figuring it out.
They’re not coasting and cruising. They’re still fixing, building, refining—just like you.
So if you’ve been feeling like you should be further along…
You’re not behind.
You’re just building something real.
